The event began with an interactive game: a XXL pixel war. Every fifteen seconds, a player can choose the color of a pixel on a web interface accessible via smartphone. By doing so, the corresponding window will change to the pixel’s chosen color . Very quickly, players understand the need to form alliances in order to make a shape appear before it is covered by other colors.

The project is also part of an initiative to raise awareness of digital technologies in art schools. Prior to the event, students were invited to create pixelated animations using graphic tablets, adapted to the format of the matrix, which were then displayed on the façade on the evening of the event.
